To uphold psychology as a science and profession in our region by supporting the efforts of state and national psychological associations , without duplicating those efforts.

To encourage the participation of professionals from diverse areas of psychology such as, academic research, clinical practice, school psychology, and such applied areas as industrial/organization, consulting, sports and other psychological specialties.

To come together periodically for the exchange of psychological knowledge through forums, seminars, workshops and social gatherings.

To promote continuing outreach to other professionals and to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue.

To be available for service to the community in an effort to promote healing, education and wellness

To educate the public and the legislature regarding the field of psychology and psychological services.
